Will robots replace traditional jobs for designers and engineers?
To answer this question, let us take a look at the following:

As part of Boston Dynamics’ Early Adopter Program, Foster + Partners has been exploringthe use of Spot®, in constructions as a tool to capture and monitor progression on-site.This robot provided with scanners to scan the site and compare it with the designs.Because construction sites are inherently dynamic environments, where changes need to betracked and measured on a regular basis, capturing errors in the time to meet the project. Also, the robot should understand these factors with the laborers on the site and provide the plans without errors.

"Spot" Remote controlling.

Preparing as built a plane by hand, and humans could take a lot of time and effort, but using this technology will save time and the designers' hard work. These techniques provide 3d plans for the building, and it could be review by the designers or project managers.

Locations capture and scan and BIM data.

'Spot" also saves money!

Were scanning and prepared in a four-dimensional BIM model with a specific system to recognize the variation of objects in sites the captures from sites will take only a few days.
This, in turn, helps us to operate our premises more efficiently and to anticipate how new designs will perform.

Here a video explain the operation!
